Bombay Rayon Fashions, producer of fashion fabrics and garments, will pump in Rs 300 crore for its expansion plan.

The company will raise funds by raising term loans under the Technology Upgradation Fund Scheme (TUFS) and further equity.

At present, the garment-making capacity of the company is 64,000 units per day, which will be increased to 1,50,000 units in a phased manner.

It is also setting up a greenfield unit with a capacity of 70 million metres per annum, which will catapult the company's total fabric manufacturing capacity to 120 million metres per annum.

The company expects, with the proposed expansion, its turnover will see a quantum jump.
