IT training services provider Edserv Softsystems today said Hindi daily Dainik Bhaskar has picked up a 2.7% stake in the firm for Rs 15 crore.
"The Hindi daily is investing Rs 15 crore for a 2.7% stake in Edserv through the issue of fully convertible equity warrants," the IT training services provider said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange.
In addition, Edserv Softsystems has bought the e-learning online content of Prosel Ventures for Rs 35 crore in an all-stock deal, the filing added.
Chennai-based Prosel specialises in providing online content for chartered accountant (CA) and company secretary (CS) aspirants, including video lectures and animated content.
