Launched a year ago and present in five cities across India, DBS has already worked with a large number of corporates and government agencies for providing digital strategies.
Having registered a turnover of Rs 20 crore, DBS aims to reach a turnover in excess of Rs 40 crore by the end of the current fiscal year.
"Digital branding is still in the nascent stage in India. But we are looking at doubling our turnover in the current year," said C V S Sharma, general manager, Digital Branding Solutions.
While traditionally, print, audio-visual and the outdoor media are used by companies or organisations to promote their products and services, the concept of using digital media - the Internet and cellular phones - is catching up very fast.
With the huge advantage of being an interactive media, Internet and mobile phones offer a whole new range of advertisement opportunities for corporates.
Today, there are over 45 million mobile phone users and about 26 million Internet users in the country and both these media are among the fastest growing areas.
"DBS aims to be among the top 20 digital agencies in the world. We have already been working with some of the biggest names in India and have also started working with international clients. If the need arises, DBS will even set up base outside India in the near future," said Sharma.
Some clients with DBS has been working include Citibank, Crompton and Greaves, Gujarat State Petroleum Corporation Ltd (GSPCL), Idea Cellular, INDEXTb, Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad (IIM-A), Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC), Madhura Garments, Matrix Telecom, Vadodara, MTV, My TV, National Highway Authority of India, Navratrifestival.com, Paras Pharma, Reliance Energy, Reliance Mutual Capital Fund and the Rajya Sabha portal of Anil Ambani.
Among the solutions that DBS offers includes providing digital strategies, where the DBS team formulates a digital campaign based on the company's values, marketing objectives and future growth plans.
