“The DTH segment has grown 7-8 times ever since the digitisation process started in the country,” India’s top DTH service provider Dish TV deputy vice president (UP zone) Salil Srivastava said here.
Currently, there are about 40 million DTH operators in India, while analogue connections are estimated at 750 million, he informed. He said Dish TV continued to be the largest operator due to its value offering and superior transmission quality.
