Franchise & retail expo in Hyd from April 11

The 18th edition of FRO (franchise & retail opportunities) 2009, a two-day event of multicity franchise and retail show, will be held here from April 11. It is being jointly organised by Franchise India Holdings Ltd and Indian Franchise Association (IFA).

According to the organisers, the event will be a premium platform for sharing and exchanging knowledge and opportunity amongst some of the biggest brands, franchisors, mall developers, and suppliers. It will offer business opportunities to the entrepreneurs in sectors like food and beverages, fashion and lifestyle, luxury, health, beauty and fitness, education and training, entertainment, hospitality, travel, specialty retail and services, to name a few.

The first day will feature a special Women Entrepreneurship Programme organised by the Indian Franchise Association and the Confederation of Women Entrepreneur. “The programme would have a specialised sessions and is being especially organised for women franchisees,” Upendra Sachdev, IFA executive director, stated in a press release.
