Textile maker Garden Silk Mills reported 62.35% decline in its net profit for the quarter ended September 30, 2011 to Rs 9.51 crore over the same period last fiscal.
The company had posted a net profit of Rs 25.26 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2010, Garden Silk Mills said in a filing to the BSE.
Net sales of the company stood at Rs 1,072.50 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2011 as against Rs 887.18 crore in the corresponding period previous fiscal, it added.
Shares of Garden Silk Mills were today trading at Rs 75 in the afternoon trade on BSE, up 0.74% from its previous close.
