HCC, a leading construction, real estate and infrastructure company, has bagged a Rs 167.67 crore engineering-procurement-construction (EPC) contract for the 62.28 kilometer(km) long water supply scheme from Sonaria to Kesaria by Gujarat Water Infrastructure Ltd.
The project that aims to transmit 124.42 million litres per day(MLD) enroute rural areas with over 100 villages in Rajula and Una taluka of Amreli and Junagadh district, will be completed in 18 months time. Water will be drawn from Narmada Main Canal at Kadiali and will be carried through pipeline to Sonaria near Veeraval. HCC will construct a reservoir each at Kesaria and Veeraval and a 62.28 km pipeline connecting these two reservoirs.
