Hindalco Sept qtr net up 26% at Rs 434 cr

Hindalco Industries Ltd, part of the Aditya Birla group, is India's largest aluminium producer, reported a Rs 434 crore net profit for the quarter ending September 30. That reflects a 26 per cent improvement from the Rs 344 crore reported for the same period a year earlier.

The net sales saw an 18.5 per cent increase at Rs 5,803 crore as against Rs 4,893 crore for the corresponding period, a year earlier.
