HUL Q3 net rises 15% to Rs 871 cr

Total income increases 12% to Rs 6,788 cr

FMCG major Hindustan Unilever Limited posted a 15% growth in net profit at Rs 871 crore for the third quarter ended December 2012. It was Rs 754 crore in the same period a year ago.

The total income increased 12% to Rs 6,788 crore as against Rs 6,035 crore in December 2011.

The company's stocks on BSE were trading at Rs 479 apiece at 1520 hours.
