Hyderabad-based Intelligroup, an NTT Data company, on Friday launched a leadership development programme in association with the Icfai Business School (IBS), Hyderabad, to provide training to its middle management employees.
The course content has been designed by IBS. Training for the first batch would start from January 2011 with 20 employees. It is planning to train 200 employees in the next one year. The programme is based on the ‘employee first-customer wins’ strategy, where the programme would involve classroom learning, transform employees into effective leaders and prepare them for a career in global business environment, he added.
This six-week course is aimed at groom mid-level managers in key areas of finance, business communication, key account management, business strategy, people management, leadership skills with an additional input in negotiation and financial issues.
