KPIT Cummins Infosystems Ltd, a product engineering and IT consulting firm, on Monday reported increase of 63.38 per cent in its net profit at Rs 41.07 crore as compared to Rs 25.13 crore last year for the third quarter ended on December 31, 2011.
The revenue also witnessed a increase of 43.12 per cent at Rs 378.85 crore as compared to Rs 264.70 crore last quarter.
Commenting on the results, Kishor Patil, managing director and CEO, said, "This quarter we increased our profits by 63.4 per cent on Y-o-Y basis, we also have a strong order book for the rest of the year and hence we are upward revising the FY12 organic USD revenue growth guidance to 37 to 38 per cent Considering our outlook for the next few quarters we are happy to recommend a 1:1 bonus issue."
The company has aded two new customers during this quarter and filed for one patent in the battery management system.
