Bangkok-based Lebua Hotels & Resorts today said it would enter Indian market with the opening of its first property in the capital by this year-end.
Owned by Delhi-based real estate firm Tirupati Building and Offices, the 400-bed five star hotel at Dwarka would be managed by Lebua Hotels & Resorts.
Lebua Hotels & Resorts, which runs hotels in Thailand and New Zealand is also looking to open two more hotels in India.
"We are looking to have two more properties in India; one in Punjab and the other in Mumbai," Lebua Hotels & Resorts Chief Executive Officer Deepak Ohri told reporters here.
Each property in India will have around 100 rooms and minimum of three restaurants, Ohri added.
The Dwarka hotel, which has come up with an investment of Rs 700 crore, would see further investment of Rs 70 crore for the development of restaurants in the premises, the company officials said.
