Networking site LinkedIn today launched redesigned “LinkedIn Company Pages” that will allow users to easily find, follow and get job updates from companies of their choice.
Besides, LinkedIn has made the company Pages available on iPhone, Android and iPad applications, so that users can stay connected to companies of their choice on the go.
The whole redesigning effort, will make it easier for companies to tell their employer story and make the job hunt process more personalised for job seekers, the professional networking site told its users on its blog.
The company page of LinkedIn features information about companies.
LinkedIn has 175 million users worldwide, which includes 16 million users from India.
“The new streamlined design makes it easier for users to find exactly what they are looking for, whether it’s company news and information, career opportunities, products and services, or insights,” it added.
For companies, this new streamlined page means a more powerful way to build relationships with their target audience on LinkedIn.
“We’ve made the update stream more relevant for members, which means companies are able to share status updates and job opportunities with the right members on LinkedIn,” Mike Grishaver from the Product Management & Monetization team at LinkedIn said.
Starting this week, a few companies such as Philips, Citi, HP and Dell can offer easier access to the information they want to share with the stakeholders.
Besides, for select companies, such as American Express, Unilever, Expedia, LinkedIn has also started to offer a more compelling and visual way for them to showcase their employer brand through the Career Pages section of Company Pages.
