Around 60 vehicles debuted at Los Angeles Auto Show, with 20 world premieres. The annual event is held here from November 18 to 27.
Over 35 major automobile manufacturers are showcasing their latest products at the show, including the new Mazda CX-5 with a diesel model, Alfa Romeo's first SUV and many more, Xinhua news agency reported.
As the representative of luxurious car brand, Porsche world premiered its Panamera 4 E-Hybrid Executive model.
"We sell about one-fourth of all the vehicles we sell in the US in California alone. We sell over 4,000 vehicles a year just in the Los Angeles area, so for us, it is always very important to showcase our latest products here," Frank Wiesmann, Porsche product experience manager, said.
Green car was still one of the major attractions at the show. Many brands announced their new moves of EVs and Hybrid, including Jaguar, Hyundai and Porsche.
Among all the green cars, as the first production EV to achieve over 200-mile driving range, Chevrolet Bolt was named winner of 2017 Green Car of the Year.
"Chevrolet is everything about technology, everything about innovation, leader on electrification because that is our ideology that is why the Bolt has achieved a lot of things," Javier Guzman Barcenas, Chevrolet Communication representative said.
In addition, Auto-Technology is one of the hottest topics, which presents the future of mobility with many possibilities. The effort to bring autonomous cars to market is on full display at the show.
