Deepak Shastri, Airport Director, Chennai Airport, said it has been reported that Independent Flight Attendant's Organization (UFO) of Cabin Crew has announced strike from November 6, 2015 till November 13, 2015 on all flights from/to Frankfurt, Munich and Dusseldorf.
Due to this, Lufthansa German Airlines has cancelled 4 flights from Frankfurt to Chennai vice-versa so far.
All the passengers were booked through other Lufthansa group flights like Lufthansa CityLine, Germanwings, Eurowings, Air Dolomiti, Austrian Airlines, SWISS and Brussels Airlines which are not affected by this strike.
Though Airports Authority of India is not responsible with regard to the various issues concerning Airlines, at the interest of public and passengers the Airport Director issued the release.
