City-based Madhucon Group on Friday signed an MoU with the Andhra Pradesh government for investments to the tune of Rs 15,900 crore for different projects.
The group has proposed to set up a 1,600-Mw gas-based power project at an investment of Rs 6,400 crore apart from a 1,320-Mw coal fired thermal power project under phase three expansion at Krishnapatnam with an investment of Rs 8,000 crore, according to a press release.
Also a new granite plant (Rs 200 crore), a food processing plant (Rs 200 crore), a mega mall at Hyderabad (Rs 600 crore), a 500-room four star hotel to be managed by Holiday Inn (Rs 500 crore) are the other investment proposals made as part of the MoU by the company.
