Maruti launches new version of Alto

Auto maker Maruti Suzuki today launched new version of Alto, equipped with a K-series, 998 cc engine in Chandigarh. This version, called Alto-K10, comes with improved suspension, new cable-type transmission, superior brake system and more knee-room for rear seat. With the launch of new model, the company expects that the Alto sales volume(including old version) would grow by 25 per cent in northern region comprising Chandigarh, Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh and Jammu & Kashmir.
