McNally Bharat Engineering today said it has bagged about Rs 85 crore order from Vedanta Group firm Konkola Copper Mines (KCM) in West Africa for a copper plant.
"...The company has received an order from Konkola Copper Mines in Nachanga, Zambia, for a copper concentration plant and floation circuit for a total value of $18.3 million," the company said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).
The contract is likely to be completed in a year's span, it said.
KCM is a subsidiary of Vedanta Resources Plc, a London-listed metals and mining group, headed by billionaire Anil Agrawal. Vedanta has operations in India, Australia and Zambia.
Kolkata-headquartered McNally Bharat Engineering, on the other side provides turnkey solutions in the areas of power, steel, aluminium, copper etc.
The company, part of the Williamson Magor Group claims to construct over 300 plants on turnkey basis.
