Mindteck acquires Singapore ERP consulting firm

Mindteck, one of the providers of software services in the field of embedded technologies and business applications, has acquired Singapore-based Netsys Consulting Pte. Ltd.
 
Netsys is a privately held company that specialises in ERP and CRM services as well as Web Technologies.
 
The acquisition was made by Mindteck Singapore Pte. Ltd. on December 1. No financial details were disclosed by the firms.
 
Mindteck is a Bangalore-headquartered firm started by Hemant Sonowala who was associated with the erstwhile Digital Equipment and Hinditron and has a topline of around Rs 10 crore.
 
According to a statement from Mindteck, this acquisition augments its delivery and broadens the scope of Mindteck's engagements in the APAC region.
 
It is a significant step in Mindteck's efforts to expand its service offerings in the business applications space and also adds to the diversified global head count of Mindteck, the statement noted.
 
"The acquisition of Netsys advances Mindteck's strategy of offering process-led technology services through a global delivery capability," said P A Ananthanarayanan, group CFO of Mindteck.
 
"This acquisition greatly enhances Mindteck's competitive position in the Asia Pacific Region and will allow us to capitalise on the growing demand from customers seeking multiple delivery options for IT services. This acquisition provides Mindteck with an additional platform to drive further revenue and profit growth."
 
Mindteck is a global software services company delivering business and technology solutions to customers worldwide, having offices and development centers in India, USA, UK, Middle East and Singapore.
 
Mindteck offers software solutions and services in the areas of embedded technologies and business applications.
