Monarch Group of Companies, leading brokerage firm in Gujarat has entered into a strategic alliance with Ceon Solutions Pvt. Ltd, provider of integrated Education Process Management (EPM) solutions and consultancy to educational institutes. This partnership between commerce and technology will pave the way for an accelerated growth path for the education industry.
Based on a shared vision for an intelligent education ecosystem, the alliance will allow both companies to drive new growth opportunities and has the potential to ultimately transform education ecosystem, reducing costs and complexity and improving productivity for customers. “Monarch is the third largest brokerage firm in Gujarat and the breadth and depth of Monarch's expertise will aid Ceon in delivering the industry's most comprehensive EPM solutions,” said Himanshu Shah, chairman, Monarch group of companies.
Monarch has committed to invest Rs 25 crore in Ceon Solutions in the next three years. While Rs 1.7 crore will be invested in the first quarter for research and development, Ceon will continue to be a majority stakeholder. “The purpose of education is not only to produce a skilled generation, but to sharpen their intelligence and prepare them for a challenging tomorrow. There is no dearth of information in the world, we need our kids to be able to process this information and use it logically,” said Abhay Panjiyar, founder, Ceon.
Established in the year 1993, Monarch Group of companies has a diverse portfolio encompassing financial markets, infrastructure management and education industry. The company has its registered office in Mumbai and corporate office in Ahmedabad.
Ceon Solutions, the brainchild of three students from Indian Institute of Information Technology and Management, Gwalior, was incubated at Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIM-A)'s Centre for Innovation, Incubation and Education (CIIE).
