The business process outsourcing (BPO) firm, Motif India Infotech Ltd, has plans to expand it operations in India. The company may also set up overseas centres.

Motif offers a range of integrated BPO services including transaction processing, e-mail management, voice support and technical helpdesk among others.

"At present, we are looking at doubling our headcount to over 1,000 employees and doubling our revenues to over $10 million in next one year," Kaushal Mehta, founder and chief executive officer, Motif India, told Business Standard.

"Most of our revenues comes from the US market and the company plans to capitalise it for the next two years before tapping other overseas markets. In the near future, the company plans to offer complete solutions through a global delivery model before setting up its overseas centre. The company's first overseas centre may come up at the Netherlands," said Mehta.

The company's recruitment drive will focus on B plus cities such as Vadodara, Surat, Rajkot, Nashik among others. The company's new centres are also expected in some of these cities because of the low cost of living.
