Nissan India names former Hyundai India's head of Sales as new VP- sales & network

Satinder Singh Bajwa will be responsible for both Nissan & Datsun sales

Japanese auto major Nissan has appointed former Hyundai Motor India's Group Head- Sales Satinder Singh Bajwa as Nissan India Pvt ltd's Vice President sales, network and customer relations for Nissan Motor India Ptv Ltd.

Nissan today announced the appointment will be effective from April 13, 2015 and Satinder will report to Arun Malhotra - Managing Director, Nissan Motor India Pvt. Ltd.

He will be responsible for accelerating sales, expanding the reach and ensuring customer satisfaction for both Nissan and Datsun across India.

Satinder has 20 years experience in functions like sales, marketing, dealer management and key account management in the automobile industry.

Prior to joining Nissan, he has worked with Hyundai Motor India Ltd as Group Head - Sales. In the past he had also worked with Maruti Suzuki, Piaggio and Bajaj Auto Ltd.

Satinder Singh Bajwa has an MBA in Marketing from Institute of Training and Advanced Studies in Management and Communication, Pune. He also holds a Bachelors in Engineering (Mechanical) degree from KLS Gogte Institute of Technology, affiliated to the Karnataka University.
