Despatches of iron ore, too, grew 2.96 per cent to touch 21.25 million tonne during the nine-month period of FY14, as compared with 18.29 million tonne during the same period a year ago.
The company has also rolled over the December 2013 prices of iron ore — lumps Rs 4,500 per wet metric tonne (WMT) and fines Rs 2,810 per WMT —to January 2014, NMDC said in a filing to the BSE on Monday.
NMDC’s scrip is currently trading at Rs 138.75 on the BSE, up 0.29%, over the previous close of Rs 139.15 a share.
