No plans to enter into four-wheeler segment: TVS

Country's second-largest two-wheeler manufacturer TVS Motor Company today said the company had "no intention" of entering into the four-wheeler segment.

The company currently operates in moped, motorcycle and in the three wheeler segment.

The company has no plans to enter into the four-wheeler category, TVS Motor Company Chairman Venu Srinivasan told reporters here.

"Absolutely, there is no intention (for us) to enter into the four-wheel segment. We have no plan to make a four-wheeler," he said.

Venu Srinivasan was here to officially unveil the company's first "clutchless" motorcycle "TVS Jive" and automatic scooterette "TVS Wego".
