OnMobile posts Rs 15.34 crore profit of for July-Sept

Earnings for quarter were supported by foreign exchange gain of Rs 8.85 crore

Telecom value-added services company OnMobile Global posted a net profit of Rs 15.34 crore for July-September, 2013, as against a net loss of Rs 5.76 crore for the corresponding quarter last year.

The Bangalore-based company posted profit despite a decline in income from operations, as earnings for the quarter were supported by a foreign exchange gain of Rs. 8.85 crore.

Income from operations for the three months ended September 30, 2013 were at Rs 110.90 crore as against Rs. 123.91 crore.

Additionally, the company said it has appointed Barry White as an independent non-executive aditional director on its board. White is an eminent lawyer who worked with US President Barack Obama during his Presidential campaign in 2008.
