The sixth additional chief metropolitan magistrate reserved the orders on the bail petition of the Price Waterhouse auditors, S Gopalakrishnan and T Srinivas, for February 2.
The Andhra Pradesh police arrested the PW auditors on January 24 and produced before the magistrate on January 25. The duo was sent for judicial remand for 14 days. Their bail petition came up for hearing in the court on Thursday.
The police charged that the auditors have colluded with Satyam founder B Ramalinga Raju, his brother B Rama Raju and V Srinivas, former chief financial officer of the beleaguered Satyam Computer Services Limited, in window dressing of the company's accounts.
Gopalakrishnan is Price Waterhouse’s chief relationship partner and Talluri its engagement leader. Gopalakrishnan was one of the auditors who signed the tainted Global Trust Bank balance sheet.
