Pantaloon Retail inaugurates second retail store in Chennai
Pantaloon Retail (India) Ltd, part of Future group, today inaugurated it second retail store "Big Bazaar' in Chennai with an investment of Rs 15 crore.
This store occupies 53,000 square feet of retail space. Rohit Malhotra, head of operations, Pantaloon Retail South India said that the company is planning to open 50 retail outlets in South India of which 15 stores will be in Chennai over the next two years. By end of this month six stores will be opened in cities like Mysore, Lucknow, Jaipur and Bharuch in Gujarat.
He added, these retail stores will display 1.6 lakh products including cosmetics, apparels, consumer durables, food and beverages and others.
