Praj Industries Q2 net up 75% at Rs 25 cr

For the first half of 2014-15, the company registered a profit of Rs 29 cr

Praj Industries, a global process engineering and solution provider across industries in bioethanol, alcohol & brewery, water & wastewater and process equipment reported a 20% increase in its revenue during the second quarter of financial year 2014-15, with income from operations standing at Rs 265.04 crore.

The profit after tax of the company was Rs 25.19 crore, up by 75% over corresponding period in 2013-14.

For the first half of 2014-15, the company registered a profit of Rs 28.94 crore and its income from operations stood at Rs 486.2 crore.

Praj Industries in its statement announced that it has further raised its holding in Praj HiPurity by additional 10% stake for Rs 20.4 crore.
