Reliance Industries (RIL) today said it has secured its recently issued non-convertible bonds of Rs 10 lakh each with the Registrar of Companies (RoC).
The redeemable NCDs (Non-Convertible Debentures) were issued on a private placement basis under a deed executed on August 18 and the same has been registered with the RoC here yesterday, RIL said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).
While the company did not disclose the amount raised through the NCDs being secured, it had filed a memorandum of privately placed bonds in May, wherein it had expressed its intention to raise Rs 500 crore through the issue of NCDs of Rs 10 lakh each.
The company has raised funds through the issue of NCDs on several occasions in the past.
