RGPPL power generation touches 1,300 MW since restarting

The project restarted after receiving 5.4 mn MMSCMD from ONGC to restart the project

Power generation at the Dabhol project has reached upto 1,300 MW from last two days against the total capacity of 1,967 MW. Ratnagiri Gas and Power Pvt Ltd  (RGPPL), which had restarted generation from April 3. The power generator, which had to shut operation from March 1 for want of gas, received 5.4 million metric standard cubic meter per day (MMSCMD) from ONGC to restart the project.

RGPPL has clarified that this gas supply is not long-term, so power generation will be more or less depending upon gas supply.
