Rolcon Engineering Company today said its net profit for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2009, rose by 97.95 per cent to Rs 1.09 crore.
The company had a net profit of Rs 53 lakh for the same quarter ended March, 2008, Rolcon Engineering said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange.
Total income of the company rose to Rs 25.28 crore for the quarter under review, as against Rs 7.88 crore for the same quarter previous fiscal.
Shares of the company reacted positively and surged five per cent to hit its upper circuit at Rs 110.35 on the BSE.
