Rolta Q4 net up 90% to Rs 139 crore; revenue rises 2-fold

Company's net revenue nearly doubled to Rs 1,114.79 crore in the fourth quarter from Rs 569.96 crore a year ago

IT solutions provider Rolta today reported 90% jump in consolidated net profit to Rs 138.82 crore for the quarter ended March 31.

The company's net revenue nearly doubled to Rs 1,114.79 crore in the fourth quarter from Rs 569.96 crore a year ago.

"We grew the business not only in quantitative terms but also qualitatively," said Rolta Chairman and Managing Director K K Singh in a statement issued here today.

"With good traction in all geographies for our IP-led solutions and services in every vertical that we serve, we are now getting much larger orders, including licences for Rolta IP and annuity revenues.

"This gives us the confidence to look more optimistically at Rolta's business in the new (fiscal) year," he added.
