Salons to sell Label.m products

| The company currently sells 40 haircare products that comprise shampoos, conditioners, gels, all priced between Rs 675 and Rs 1475. |
| Label.m products are currently available in over 42 countries in 3,000 salons. |
| According to Aston Baird, business development manager of Label.m, the company has already tied up with salons 'B Blunt' and 'Hakim's Alim' in Mumbai, and with 'June Tomkins' and 'Head Turners' in Kolkata to stock its products. |
| "We follow the salon retail strategy and is looking at tying up with a total of 20 salons in India to sell our products," Baird informed. |
| "Once our products are used in salons, they give a different look and feel to the consumer using it. If the consumer uses some other brand later on, the Label.m benifits can not be expected. That is when consumers will come back to buy our products," Baird reasoned. |
| Label.m is also planning to launch 10 new haircare products by 2009, in addition to its 40 existing products. |
| These would include organic haircare products which would build on the goodness of naturals. |
| It would also launch 'Label Men', a range of shampoos and conditioners specially formulated for men. |
| Label.m outsources production to companies in US and UK. |
| Globally, its products are available at the same price band in an attempt to curb sale of spurious products. |
