With this, customers can place their orders by noon on a business day to have their orders delivered by 9 pm on the same day.
The service will be available in Bangalore, Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Noida, Gurgaon, Faridabad, Manesar, Navi Mumbai, Thane and will be scaled up to other cities soon, according to a company statement.
The service does not come free, however. There's an additional shipping fee of Rs 200 to access the same-day delivery service. But you pay Rs 140 as an introductory offer. If the product is not delivered by the time promised by the company, customer will get the product free, up to a value of Rs 5,000, for the first three days or till end of this month. Once the inaugural offer is over, if a company fails to deliver on time, the shipping charge will be refunded. Also, an amount of Rs 400 gets credited in his Flipkart wallet.
