SIDBI has extended support towards conducting 70 such camps this year benefitting close to 3,000 underprivileged children. At a function organized on February 5 by AJFTLE at Aditya Jyot Eye Hospital Wadala, this initiative was launched by Sushil Muhnot, the chairman and managing director of the bank, S Natarajan, managing trustee of AJFTLE, doctors and staff of Aditya Jyot Foundation. Bhama Krishnamurthy, country head (resources) of SIDBI was also present at the ocassion.
“As part of our CSR initiative, SIDBI, in association with Aditya Jyot Foundation for Twinkling Eyes, is planning to work for slum children and parents in Maharashtra and create awareness about avoidable blindness,” said Muhnot.
