SKF India gets new MD

Shishir Joshipura has been appointed as additional director and managing director of SKF India - a technology and solutions provider of bearings, seals and related products. He will be taking the new position on 1 December, 2009 replacing Rakesh Makhija, the current managing director of the company.

Makhija has now been appointed as president, Asia of the SKF group effective from January 1, 2010.

Based in Sanghai, Makhija will be a member of SKF group and report to Tom Johnstone, SKF group president and CEO.
