Software tool from Intel funded Consign Tech

Consign Technology, an Intel Capital incubated company, has announced the launch of the newest version (3.4) of its multi-platform rapid application software tool, GoDB, which helps in the development of a variety of applications for diverse mobile devices.
 
Announcing the launch, Consign Tech, MD, R Raja said: "The ever-increasing need for speed and mobility is common across all industries. With this tool, any application vendor or enterprise can empower their entire workforce to access centralised data by customising their applications "" be it database, accounting or ERP.
 
The data can be accessed by a variety of mobile devices running on either Windows, Linux, Palm OS or Symbian OS. Consigntech will focus on building the developer network in India as part of its plans to widen the base of this product.
 
The company, founded in early 2000, in addition to this product, also offers content management solution and has a topline of Rs 1.5 crore and expects to double the revenue over the next one year.
 
Added Raja "We anticipate a good demand for our new offering from the US and UK markets and we are strengthening our presence in these markets."
