Auto component maker Sona Koyo Steering Systems today reported an over two-fold jump in its profit after tax (PAT) for the quarter ended September 30 at Rs 7.50 crore.
The company had posted a PAT of Rs 3.71 crore in the corresponding quarter last year, Sona Koyo Steering Systems said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).
The net sales of the company during the second quarter also increased by 25.12 per cent to Rs 250.69 crore from Rs 200.38 crore in the year-ago period, it added.
The shares of the company, however, moved 2.43 per cent down during late afternoon and were trading at Rs 20.10 on the BSE.
