Multi Screen Media (MSM), formerly Sony Entertainment Television (SET) Business Head Albert Almeida has resigned. He is believed to be pursuing other opportunities.
He is the second top official to quit the company in the last two weeks. Earlier on February 18, MSM CEO Kunal Das Gupta had put in his papers.
When contacted Almeida confirmed the development.
“I am taking up another offer, which I cannot disclose at this point in time. I will continue to be with the company for another week,” Almeida said.
Sources in the industry said that Almeida is moving over to another media organisation. However, this could not be confirmed.
The exit gains importance as Almeida is the second top-rung official to quit the company. Almeida has worked with various functions of MSM like Max, where he was the business head of the channel.
