SpiceJet to provide assured seat within next 24 hours in case of flight disruption

The facility can be availed by oneself at an additional cost of Rs 240

On a day when heavy fog disrupted operations at the Delhi airport leading to many flights being or delayed or diverted, low-cost carrier SpiceJet announced a new scheme through which passengers can have an assured flight in next 24 hours in case the original flight's schedule is disrupted owing to unforeseen circumstances.

Under the scheme called, ' Fly For Sure' the airline offers the passengers a facility to book tickets in a flight within next 24 hours at an additional cost of Rs 240 while booking this flight. The offer will be applicable in case of flight getting delayed beyond 90 minutes, missing a flight ( no show) not exceeding 30 minutes from airport check-in closure of the original flight or cancellation of flight by the airline.

As of now, this offer will be applicable only for domestic passenger and on purchase of flights up to seven days in advance. The product is not available for group bookings, infants and is non-cancellable or refundable in isolation.
