Gujarat Energy Transmission Corporation Limited (GETCO) and Gujarat State Electricity Corporation Limited (GSCEL) have filed separate petitions before the Gujarat State Electricity Regulatory Commission (GERC) for levy, collection of fees and charges and annual tariff determination for the year 2009-10.
GETCO has filed an application before the GERC under section 61 to 64 of the electricity Act, 2003 and Levy and collection of fees and charges by State Load Dispatch Centre (SLDC) regulations 2005 for annual revenue requirement and determination of SLDC charges and fees for the year 2009-10. GETCO has also filed another separate petition before GERC for aggregate revenue requirement for 2009-10 .
GSECL has filed its petition before GERC under section 62 of the electricity Act 2003 and multi year tariff frame work regulation for annual performance review for the year 2008-09 and annual tariff determination of generation tariff for 2009-10.
