Sundaram Brake net dips

Sundaram Brake Linings has reported an 88 per cent drop in net profit for the quarter ended December 2008, to Rs 0.52 crore, compared to Rs 4.66 crore during the same period last year. Total income dropped by 26 per cent to Rs 38.28 crore from Rs 48.46 crore for the same quarter last year.

Tata Elxsi net declines by 12.5%
Product design firm Tata Elxsi reported a 12.52 per cent decline in its consolidated net profit to Rs 12.30 crore for the third quarter ended December 2008. The Tata group company had a net profit of Rs 14.06 crore in the December quarter of the previous financial year. The income from operations rose 10.65 per cent to Rs 107.10 crore during the quarter under review, from Rs 96.79 crore in the corresponding period last year.

TTK Prestige net up 4.48%
TTK Prestige reported a 4.48 per cent growth in its net profit to Rs 6.52 crore for the third quarter ended December 2008. The company had a net profit of Rs 6.24 crore in the December quarter of FY08, TTK said in a filing to the BSE. Total income rose to Rs 121.49 crore in the quarter under review from Rs 987.70 crore in the corresponding period a year ago.
