Hospitality major Taj Hotels, Resorts and Palaces, part of the Tata Group, today marked its first venture in Thiruvananthapuram with its Rs 100-crore premium business hotel, Taj Residency. The company operates Taj Green Cove at Kovalam, on the city outskirts.
Taj Hotels, Resorts and Palaces has entered into a management contract with Dodla International Ltd, for the Taj Residency, which will be formally inaugurated tomorrow.
G Mohamed, managing director, Dodla International Ltd, said Dodla, which owns the property, had inked a technical services and development assistance agreement as well as a hotel operating agreement with Indian Hotels Company Ltd for the operation of the hotel as a premier business class hotel under the Taj Residency tag.
