Tata Coffee today said its consolidated net profit rose by over 12 fold to Rs 32.83 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2010 from the same period last fiscal.
The company had posted a consolidated net profit of Rs 2.72 crore in the corresponding period last fiscal, Tata Coffee said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).
The company's total income rose to Rs 350.24 crore for the third quarter this year from Rs 305.86 crore the same period last fiscal.
"The board at its meeting held on December 28, 2010 had declared an interim dividend of Rs 5 per equity share," the company said.
Shares of Tata Coffee were today closed at Rs 712.05 on the BSE, down 1.78 per cent from its previous close.
