Tata Motors partners Royal Challengers Bangalore

RCB players in their inaugural match against Mumbai India wore jerseys having Tata Bolt branding

Tata Motors, India's fourth largest passenger vehicle maker, today announced its second association with a Indian Premier League. The Mumbai-based company announced its partnership Vijay Mallya-owned Royal Challengers Bangalore becoming its official car partner.

RCB players in their inaugural match against Mumbai India wore jerseys having the Tata Bolt branding. Tata Bolt is the yet-to-be-launched hatchback which will be introduced in a few months.

The current range of Tata Motors' cars will be used to transport the team players. The Bolt brand will also have significant brand exposure at RCB's home ground, the Chinnaswamy Stadium, along with in-stadium promotional rights.

"The RCB team has established themselves as a stylish and cool team and have performed consistently last season. This partnership offers a perfect synergy for the values and attributes both partner brands have in common", stated a company release.

Earlier the company had announced a partnership with Kings XI Punjab, becoming its title sponsor. Tata Prima the new age truck launched by it just a few years ago is the brand the company is promoting with the Punjab team.
