TTK Prestige Net dips 33% to Rs 29.49 cr in Q3

Company had registered a net profit of Rs 44.10 crore during the corresponding period of previous year

TTK Prestige, a part of the Rs 2,500-crore TTK Group, has registered a 33.1 per cent decline in its net profit to Rs 29.49 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, 2013.

The company had registered a net profit of Rs 44.10 crore during the corresponding period of previous year, TTK Prestige said in a BSE filing.

For the nine-month period ended December 31,2013, the net profit slipped by 18.5 per cent to Rs 85.58 crore from Rs 105.06 crore during the corresponding period a year ago.

The total income from operations for the third quarter dipped to Rs 369.44 crore from Rs 437.13 crore registered during the same period of the previous year.

For the April-December 2013 period, the total income from operations stood at Rs 1,021.31 crore as against Rs 1,075.21 crore registered during the same period a year ago.

Shares of the company were trading at Rs 3,500 apiece, up 2.17 per cent from its previous close on the BSE.
