On Tuesday, Rishi Jaitly, the Asia-Pacific head who steered the engagement with government bodies for Twitter in India had quit saying he was returning to the US.
“After leading Twitter in Asia's most exciting markets (India/SEA/MENA) for 3 yrs, time to move on to new passions,” Singh tweeted.

Twitter added the MENA region would now be aligned with the Europe, the Middle East and Africa market region, whereas India and Southeast Asia would aligned to the Asia-Pacific region, currently headed by Aliza Knox, vice-president for the region.
Maya Hari, who previously managed Twitter’s ads product strategy and adoption for Asia-Pacific, MENA and Latin America, would be Twitter's new managing director for India and Southeast Asia, and would report to Knox, the firm stated.
