To start with, MMD will invest about Rs 100 crore in this project and will offer employment to 200 people. It is expected to be commissioned by October next year, said Ravindra Sannareddy, managing director, Sri City in a release. MMD was the fifth major industry from the United Kingdom to select Sri City as its business destination. The company offers mineral sizers, heavy duty apron plate feeders, caterpillar chains and rollers, and sizer stations. It serves aggregate, cement, coal, industrial minerals, metalliferrous, energy/oil, recycling, tunnelling, and precious metals industries, it added.
Sri City SEZ, which is spread over 5,000 acres in Nellore and Chittor districts of Andhra Pradesh, offers the cumulative benefits of a special economic zone, free trade zone and industrial park.
