Tainted IT firm Satyam Computer Services today reported a standalone net profit of Rs 52 crore for the month ended February 2009.
The company had a net profit of Rs 4 crore in January this year, Satyam said in a regulatory filing to the stock exchanges.
The total income in February stood at Rs 637 crore while in January it was at Rs 647 crore.
For the October-December quarter, the firm, which has been acquired by Tech Mahindra in April, posted a net profit of Rs 181 crore.
The total income during the December quarter last year stood at Rs 2,206 crore.
"The information has been prepared by the company with data collected using the company's internal management information system, which may not be adequate and books of accounts, making certain management estimations, assumptions and approximations," the filing added.
