vFortress' application security product

vFortress, a Bangalore-based IT security product company, has launched its first indigenously developed application security product suite - SPAN (Seamless Private Application Network).

Said Subash Warrier, CEO, vFortress: "SPAN empowers its customers to use their networked applications securely over the Internet without re-engineering. The solution allows a user to securely connect remote and mobile users while retaining the control and security necessary for any access solution."

"In addition to it, the solutions will allow the user to web-enable legacy applications immediately, without the need to rewrite code or strip away familiar interfaces and disturb the existing network."

The suite also enables a corporation to consolidate remote servers into centralised data centres.

Added Pawan Kumar, chairman, vFortress: "vFortress has been addressing application layer security and is one of the few Indian product companies catering to the global markets in the information security space besides developing, marketing, distributing and supporting for the last one year. It has concentrated on its own IPR development and currently hold four patents on emerging security technologies."
